Downloading a Youtube Video

Of the many resources available online for teachers, I use http://www.Khanacademy.org often. Khan Academy has tons of tutorials and video explanations that available for free to use in your classroom. However, if you are like me, YouTube videos might be blocked by your school system. Does that mean this is a resource that you simply cannot use anymore? Absolutely not! I recommend that you download the YouTube video, save it on a thumb drive, and display in your class.
To download a YouTube video, go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/easy-youtube-video-downl-10137/ to install a plug-in for your Mozilla FireFox or head over to http://www.bestvideodownloader.com/ for another free downloader that supports more browsers. Next time you’re watching a video online on YouTube, you’ll be able to hit a download button to retrieve the file.
If you tried this or know of other ways of downloading YouTube files or Flash Videos, drop me a comment!
